Mister Rogers' Neighborhood S15E4 - Food
6.0/10 by 121 users
Mister Rogers arrives with a picture book about vegetables. After looking through the book, he talks about how people sometimes put different kinds of vegetables together to make soup. He then invites viewers along to take a tour of a vegetable soup factory led by Mary Ellis.
In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the effort to help Northwood is underway as a mass of Speedy Seeds have begun to produce a hearty crop.
Meanwhile, Daniel is disappointed to learn that the can of vegetable soup that he planted will not grow into a vegetable soup tree. To make him feel better, Bob Dog secretly places cans of soup on a tree planted in Daniel's pot. When he sees how excited Daniel is that his soup actually "grew," Bob Dog doesn't have the heart to tell him the truth.
Back at the house, Mister Rogers sings I Like to Be Told.
