Diagnosed with a terminal illness, embittered schoolteacher Alfred Emerson decides to end life on his terms. He subsequently devises a monstrous plan to blackmail Peter Montopolis, a popular student he jealously loathes, into killing him. However, the scheme might not go as planned.
